Primidon is in de handel verkrijgbaar in tabletvorm (Mysoline). Het is sinds 1952 in veel landen goedgekeurd.

Structuur en eigenschappen

Primidon (C.₁₂H₁₄N₂O₂, M_r = 218.3 g / mol) is een witte kristallijne stof poeder dat is zeer matig oplosbaar in water.

Effecten

Primidon (ATC N03AA03) heeft anti-epileptische eigenschappen.

Indicaties

Grand mal, psychomotorisch epilepsie, focale aanvallen, petit mal, myoclonische en akinetische aanvallen.
